Silent Scream exhibition

The exhibition Silent Scream urges the viewer to confront the deaths of women who attempted to defend themselves from violence.

In order to make the problem of femicide concrete, Aslı Atasoy Öner and Mithat Can Öner combine light and sound installations to create Silent Scream. The artworks create a space for interaction with the subject and awaken empathy.

A number of workshops led by professionals on women’s self-defense, body awareness, and creative expression complement the exhibition (workshops are available in Turkish, English, and German).
